And now some news from Austria: 28,765 requests for asylum since 1st January this year, out of these 24,260 requests will be processed and decided upon.
This means that this is 65% of the limit of the Austrian government (they announced that they will only process a limited amount of asylum requests this year).
Austria will now discuss what they will do once they get even closer to the limit and then reach the limit before the end of this year (e.g. reject entrance of people at the borders and how to do this). Austria will also discuss with the neighboring countries.
